Gain hands-on practical experience in Sacramento, the state’s capital! Get involved and learn about the policy making process of the largest state in the country. Students intern for a minimum of 20 hours per week.
Placement process |
An internship placement process is built-in to the UCCS program. After students are selected for the program, the UCCS Systemwide Staff actively helps students secure internships. They will meet with the participants, determine their interests and offer possible options. Students are still required to apply to, interview for and get accepted to the position.
Examples of internship organizations |
